Toyhouse rant
NOTE: This is old and some parts I said might not define me as clearly.
When I say "Toyhouse" I mean the website where you store your OCs.
I like this site and I do want to join this site for myself, but sweet lord does this site have the most fucking unfair hurdle of all sites I've heard of so far in my current lifespan.
I understand if the invite code is a thing implemented to avoid trolls and bots joining, I understand if the developers had good intentions behind it but I still really hate it. You have to go on 50 whole sidequests just to get your hands on an invite code for an account you're only going to log on twice a year if we're being optimistic.
And don't forget you'll need artistic talent for said 50 sidequests.
At this point I give up on Toyhouse and it dissapoints me because this site is really good but it's that damn hurdle of getting an account, and said hurdle is something like the great wall of china.
I know many great sites with a similar account creation system like Toyhouse and it breaks my heart. I'm aware they have their own reasons too and I shouldn't tell other site developers what to do, they're the ones with a domain name under their belt after all.
